This is a full-length tutorial, in 4 parts (for now). In Part 1, we will show how to make the foam body of the fly from a foam cylinder, using razor blades and CA glue in a series of steps. In Part 2, we will add a mylar covering over the body of the fly, which adds durability and a nice scaly-looking shine to the entire body. In part 3, we will use a Hagen’s Wire Former (not required) to make a wire-harness for the fly. In part 4, we will add very-durable eyes to the fly and color the fly, before coating it with epoxy.
